Nischal S Arora
Founder of Exult Nxt Partners LLP, has over two decades of extensive experience in Inbound & Outbound Investment advisory and structuring across sectors. He is a specialist in the Regulatory
Services domain comprising Foreign Investment Policy, Sectoral framework, Exchange Control Regulations, Corporate & Allied Laws.
Having aided numerous foreign companies in establishing business structures under both regulated and automatic route sectors, Nischal’s portfolio spans across sectors such as Retail and E-commerce, Telecom, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services.
Nischal is proficient in obtaining approvals from the Central Government for approvals across sectors followed by nodal ministerial (Operational) licenses from the DoT, I&B, Factories Licenses, NBFC Registrations, Collection agent approvals, Payment Aggregator registrations, FCRA approvals for Foundations/NGOs, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Incentivized deductions under MSIPS, PLI/SPECS, Start-up recognition, complex PO/BO related approvals from RBI/ MoF. He is recognized for his advocacy efforts, representing clients to government authorities on operational issues, legal clarifications, and matters concerning Exchange control and Company Law, fostering strong professional relationships in the process.
Before setting up Exult NxT, Nischal had served as a partner at Nangia Andersen, a member firm of Andersen Global for almost 5 years. Previously, he worked for HT Media Ltd as the Portfolio Head and with PwC and KPMG for over 13 years in the Tax and Regulatory Services Division.
A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Law and (Hons) Commerce from Delhi University, Nischal actively contributes as a speaker at various forums of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has authored numerous thought leadership articles in leading newspaper publications. His comprehensive expertise and active involvement in industry forums solidify his position as a trusted advisor in the field.

Karthik Balachandran
A seasoned banking professional and Co-founder of Exult Nxt Partners LLP. With over two decades of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, business development, and relationship management, he brings a culturally diverse, multifaceted, and target-focused approach to his work.
Beginning his banking career in 2003 as a Corporate Banking Trainee at Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Karthik later joined ING Vysya Bank in 2005, which merged into Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd in 2015. During his tenure at Kotak, he held various significant roles, including pivotal in setting up MNC vertical within ING Vysya bank, leading Alliances and New Business Initiatives within the MNC Client Group of Kotak. He excelled in co-creating sustainable ecosystems for clients and Alliance Partners, offering a unique value proposition through cross-references, joint-relationships, and knowledge partnerships.
Prior to his role in business development, Karthik headed Corporate Banking South India at ING Vysya Bank, overseeing MNC investments into India and coordinating the European Business Desk India.
Karthik possesses extensive experience in all facets of banking, including offshore funding, structured finance transactions, regulatory compliance with RBI guidelines including FEMA, foreign investment by MNCs, domestic and cross-border funding, External Commercial Borrowings & Trade Credits, GIFT City funding structures, and Capital and Current Account Transaction advisory etc.
A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from MS University, Tamil Nadu, Karthik is actively involved with various country chambers in India and serves as a Board Member of the India Netherlands Business Circle Bangalore (INBCB). Additionally, he is a Curriculum Graduate from Landmark, showcasing his commitment to personal and professional development. Karthik's strategic vision, hands-on solution selling approach, and deep industry knowledge make him a valuable asset in the banking sector and to his clients.
